Error When Opening Jpeg and PNG Files

Hi,

I have a particular client that is new to Dropbox. She has been uploading files in jpeg and png.

In her folder you can see a picture associated with these images and if I click on the file I can view the image but when I try and download them I get an error:

"Sorry photo's cannot open this file because the format is currently unsupported, or the file is corrupt".

I have other clients that use Dropbox and I have downloaded their files in jpeg and png no problem.

Is anyone able to give me some advise please?

Thank you

Hi DHarrisBKS, thanks for posting today!

Just to clarify: When you try opening the content using the web, are you able to preview the files?

If your client tries to preview the same content after it has been downloaded on her end, does she notice the same behavior?

Let me know, and we'll go from there.

Check the file size of the PNG images, rarely it happens because of large image size and cause issue in opening files some tools for compress png to 100kb is file size in hundereds of mbs.
