How can I check the size of my folders in Dropbox?
Question When I use my Dropbox from the browser I can see the size of my Dropbox and how much of that space is being used. But if I click on folders within my Dropbox I cannot see how many files are within the folders (without having to count them all myself), nor can I see the size of each folder. Is there a setting that will allow me to see this info?
Thanks,
BBN

Select all the files, then the count will be displayed in the upper right corner.
nor can I see the size of each folder.

How do you get the SIZE of the folder? in MB or GB. Not the number of files. The size. The help says click on the elipsis and select 'Calculate Size'. That is not an option in my menu.

Hey mcs2 - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Have you tried clicking on the column header and selecting the size option from there?
Here's a screenshot of how it looks on my end for example:

My DropBox doesn't look like the image you are showing. I have selected 'List' and there is no pull down menu like what is shown in your image. 😞

Got it. It says my folder (with 413 items in it) has a size of '---'
That's not too helpful

Hi mcs2, have you selected for the size to be visible there?
Can you send me a couple of screenshots, in order for me to have a visual too?

Here are two screen shots showing the size as '---' and using the elipsis menu which does NOT have a 'Calculate Size' option

Your screenshot is cutting off the bottom of the context menu. Were you able to see the entire menu on your screen? The Calculate Size option would have appeared below the Pin to Dropbox option, which is the last one visible before your screenshot is cut off.
