How do I download multiple files at once
Someone shared 26 video files with me individually and they appear in the little notification bell icon in the top right. Is there any way to download them all at once or do I have to indiv...
- 8 years agoWhen you click the links, on the top right it should say Download, with a ▼ . Click that and there should be another option that says ‘Save to my Dropbox’, like so:That will save it into your own account, and then will download automatically to your machine.

8 years agoHi there, it sounds like they shared the files with you directly to your Dropbox account.
You will need to download them directly from the sharing page here, one by one when viewing the files.
You can however add them to your Dropbox account if you have enough spare quota, and then it will download to your machine if the desktop app is installed.

How would I go about adding them to my Dropbox account to download onto my machine? I have the desktop app installed.

So the solution to not wanting to download a ton of files one by one, is that I can open a seperate account, transfer each file (one by one) to that account, and THEN download them all at once...? (◔_◔)

For the love - think I just figured out that product is not compatible with internet explorer. The multiple files processes (select/download/etc) are all disabled in IE, and the only way to get them anywhere (downloaded, moved, whatever) is to click through to each file and use the buttons on the file page. But if I copy the exact same download link into chrome, viola. Buttons on the folder page.
