How to open pdf from Dropbox in Books on iPad

Until recent changes to Dropbox, it was easy to move a pdf from my desktop Mac into the Dropbox folder, then select it on my iPad and open it in Books to read it.

Now I can see the file on my iPad but the only option I can find is to open it in Adobe Acrobat.

How can I open these pdfs in Books, or in Kindle?

thanks

Caroline

Hey dukiebluedoc, I hope you're well!

As a first step, you want to make sure that you are running the latest OS your device can support, and also the latest version of the Dropbox app.

This Help Center article explains how to check for both.

Keep in mind, that this might be an issue regarding the iOS, and not us.

You might want to take into consideration these steps provided by my colleague, in regards to a similar situation.

    Keep me posted!

I have the latest iOS and the latest Dropbox on Mac and iPad.

When I select the eBook and select the ...elipsis in the upper right hand corner on my iPad Dropbox, this is what I get:there is no option to "Open in" or to "Export" as there used to be.

Hey dukiebluedoc, thanks for the details!

You should be able to see the "Export" option after clicking "Share".

Can you give this a go?
