Images moved from Macbook to Dropbox folders not showing thumbnails and not opening

If you select your images, right/control click on them and choose to make them available offline, does this issue go away?

Thank you for your response. I tried this and it will allow me to open the images now without right clicking but iy still doesn't show the thumbnail unless I click on the actual image then it shows them in the columns as an image (if that makes sense). I don't know the correct terminology for them.

Also, it mesas I will have to do this for thousands of images before I see what I have in the columns.
