I have not seen a fix for this yet. I still have the error when trying to save a pdf directly to Dropbox on IOS browsers (safari, firefox, chrome). My workaround is to save the pdf to Files app and then upload to Dropbox.

Walter, I am still a bit disappointed that this problem has not been fixed yet while many people have the same problem. Earlier, it was pointed to me that it was an iOS-problem but e.g. pCloud (another cloud service) is however able to save these documents without any problems! In the same context-menu’s as the “Save to Droxbox” items appear, pCloud has a similar option “Save to pCloud” and that does work perfectly: when Dropbox fails to save the document, pCloud succeeds. So why doesn’t this work for Dropbox? … It can’t be beyond your circle of influence. Again, please have this fixed. Thanks
