Is offline content fully downloaded to my Android?

Application Affected
(Dropbox App.)
Device
(Redmi Note Pro)
Operating System/Browser (if using the web)
(Android)
Dropbox App Version (if using the app)
(450.2.2)

Question or Issue
Hi.

I've made a folder available offline. It appeared to download everything and most of the mp4 files play without hesitation. Today, i noticed it appeared to be buffering and wondered if it were an issue with the app playing the file, or was it because not all  the content has been downloaded to the handset.

The root folder has a green tick, as do all the sub-folders inside it.

Thanks for reading. :-)

  • Hi miniman, thanks for messaging the Community!

Any file that has a green tick on it means that it's downloaded fully to the device, and doesn't require any further downloading.

If the file is buffering, it's possible that there could be a minor issue with rendering the file, such as the codec needed or its size, but not in relation to its download status.

If you need any further assistance, please let me know!

Hi Jay, thanks for that, makes sense as some of the videos vary in size.

    Cheers
