Link expired. How to download the content?

So, I had a link of files shared with me and I didnt dowload the files within the time limit. Does dropbox keep the files in a database? How could I recover the files of this link. It is even in the ...

    You'll need to contact the person that shared it with you and ask for a new link. There's no way for Dropbox to provide access again.

Dont the files remain in dropbox database for at least a little longer?

    It doesn't work like that. Once the link has expired, there's no way for you to access it or see the files that it previously linked to. You need to contact the owner of the files.
