Prevent Dropbox site from automatically opening when I turn on PC
How do I prevent Dropbox from automatically opening when I boot up my PC?

the ONLY selections that drop down when I click oj my Icon are Upgrade (in bold text), Settings, Automations, & Install Dropbox. Clicking on settings and preferences there is no box to check to turn off auto opening of Dropbox! If you click Help it's only for sales or upgrades.
It's very obvious that Dropbox makes it difficult to stop their auto sign box from opening & their Help Chat window is ONLY for sales and upgrades. I was planning to upgrade, but not now, I will likely delete my account! I've spent enough time trying to get something that should be simple, very difficult!

4 years agoHey John E H., thanks for the nudge here.
We really appreciate your feedback here and rest assured that your opinion is heard.
However, it seems that you might be looking at our website, when this setting can only be found in the Dropbox desktop app preferences.
To find the preferences, you'll need to click on the Dropbox icon in your system tray/menu bar and then on your initials/profile pic.
I hope this helps!
