Unresponsive download button in Safari

I cannot download files in the Dropbox web version using the Safari browser. The download button etc. appears but when I click on it, the download process does not start.

Hey grafikermc - I can see that Megan already opened a ticket for you in our system a little while ago.

If you're unable to find her message in your email's inbox and/or spam/junk folder, then you might want to reach out to our support team from your end directly.

In any case, please keep us posted.

Hey grafikermc, can you check if the email has gone to your spam folder?

If not, please add no-reply@dropbox.com to your email contacts and let us know, so we can send you another email.

Your email did not arrive, I added the email address no-reply@dropbox.com as you specified.

I have this same problem. Bit, if I kill cookies, then share a link to myself, then download it from that link like an outside user, I can get it to download. But not AT ALL from my own dropbox that houses the file.  This is only a problem in Safari.  but unfortunately that's my primary browser and this is a colossal pain to do every time.

Hey Jason211 thanks for posting here!

It might sound trivial, but have you made sure that you're using the latest version of Safari on your end?

Also, have you tried to restore the browser to its default settings, by any chance?

    Let me know!

Hey motorsportaus thanks for posting here!

Just wanted to check in with you and see if you still face the same issue.

If so, does that only happen when you access Safari?

Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!
