Thank you Jay for trying to help.
What do you mean by "we're not experiencing this behavior on our test devices"?
I am using Dropbox Basic Plan with 3 devices.
I did what you suggested: I uninstalled the app from my phone, turned off my iPhone, turn it back on, re-installed the Dropbox app but nothing changed.
I don't know what happened and why I cannot see and choose files by their dates as I used to be able to do.

Hey GZ5, happy Monday!
Your feedback regarding our mobile app and camera uploads has been very valuable and I will endeavor to make sure your voice is heard.
It seems that the interface and how this works has been recently altered. I will pass on your comments to the relevant departments since we value your needs on how Dropbox fits into and influences your daily routine.
If you need anything else, let me know.
- Coltsinohio4 years agoNew member | Level 2I am experiencing the same problem. The date I took the photo was the primary way I used to find photos when I uploaded files into folders.

Coltsinohio I am glad to see I wasn't imagining this. Please let me know if you find a solution. I'm losing my mind without the dates.

I’ve been reading TONS of threads about people having this EXACT problem. Clearly they aren’t all going to know I have requested this feature to PHYSICALLY go vote for it. But it’s proof that it is a SERIOUS issue that needs to be addressed and fixed. It clearly has enough people who have posted about it without being resolved. Some may have even stopped using this app because of it. I think that should speak volumes about how many people WOULD vote for the feature if they knew it was there to be voted on, had the time, or cared anymore about those of us still trying to hold onto the hope that we won’t have to switch to another app that DOES include this very necessary functionality.
