Cannot move a folder to another folder on Finder- Mac

Hi! I am having trouble when I try to move a folder from my desktop to another folder on Dropbox in my Finder window on my MacBook Air. It says Error-36. I have tried multiple suggestions I've found online and nothing works. I am able to open the contents of the folder and move each item to the new folder, but I can't move the entire folder on its own.

Hi there Marciadotcom - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

Can you please send us a screenshot of the exact error you're getting so that we can have a visual too?

Also, what is your computer's exact OS version and the version and status of the Dropbox desktop app as shown in your menu bar?

Let us know what you find and we'll take it from there, Marcia.

Hi, it is Mac OS Monterey 12.5.1.  I think the Dropbox is v201.4.5552?  I can't really find that info.  Now it is not letting me add any files to my Dropbox folder on Finder.

It is working now.  I didn't change anything.  I am baffled!

Ok I think it is working now.  Sorry for the back and forth!  I ended up disconnecting the Icloud storage drive and then reconnecting that.  I also redownloaded the Dropbox desktop app and now it seems to work better.  I've tested with several folders and they seem to work now.  Hopefully this will continue to work okay.
