Can't delete my Dropbox Backup

Hi,

I have a Backup set up for a PC that no longer exists. I cannot delete the backup. The help says to login, goto settings-security tab, select the device to log it out, so the backup can be deleted. The device does not exist in my list.

The instructions make sense but there appears to be something wrong. If there is nothing wrong with what I am doing how do you contact support to get it fixed?

Cheers, Garry

Thanks for the additional screenshot marcelltab

Could you try removing the backed up device from your account's  security page and then try to delete your backup?

If you get the same results, we might need to send you an email to investigate internally.

    Hi Megan,
Sure you can email me. The link in Jay's response shows a backup which I would like to delete called PC (Akai), what would you like know or me to try?

Yes, it is a device that no longer exists. Supposedly I can log in to drop box, select that device, and log it out. Problem is it is not in my list of devices, cannot log it out, cannot delete the backup.
Dropbox solution is to pay them to report their bug.

Hi from me as well, Garryx!

The “PC” folder that you mention should contain your backed up folders.

Is it possible that “Akai” was the name of your previous device that had been backed up?

Hi Garryx, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Just for clarification, are there no backups visible on this page on your account?

This will help me to assist further!
