Cant edit shared Excel
For about 1 week ago I can no longer edit shared Excel files.
I dont have the option in the top to edit via Excel online, that whole button has just dissapeared.
Does somebody know why this has happend?
From your second screenshot, the default app to open the files is the Dropbox site. Could you change it to make this Excel on the web?

I use Android.
In the dropbox application / files / *.*xls file
Then I visualize the file and when I press the edit key (a square with a diagonal line) to write, the dropbox goes back and the files in the archive appear again.
Before, when I pressed the edit key, I was able to work on the file. - Megan3 years ago

Hi Luisa6, what is the Dropbox mobile version that you're using on your end?
Other than that, did you happen to clear the Dropbox app’s cache, and reinstalling perhaps? Also let me know what results you get if you try to open the file directly using the relative Microsoft Excel app instead.

I cleared the cache, uninstalled the dropbox APP, installed it again, after restarting the phone and the error persists.
I downloaded the excel file to my phone and it works normally. - Jay3 years ago

Hi Luisa6, just to confirm, is this an xls or xlsx file?
Only the latter can be edited on an Android device.
