Getting doc to open in write mode

Last entered to doc on laptop. Traveling now and larest version shows text but is not writable on tablet.

  • Hmm, if you don't see your edits when you access the file on dropbox.com, it means that your edits weren't actually synced to your account, so you might want to look into your laptop, check the sync status of the Dropbox application, etc.

But of course, do let us know how that works and we'll go from there.

Hey Honcha, thanks for reaching out to us.

Are you referring to a Word doc or a Paper doc?

If it's a Word doc, do you have the Word app installed on your tablet, so that you can edit the file using the 'open with' option?

Let me know and we'll go from there.

Yes, I have word on tablet but won't open there either. It just goes to the last text I wrote on tablet and in a strange format, narrow with editing suggestions on side in pink.

Actually Word takes me to last tablet entry with box asking if I want to return where I stopped and I could continue writing there but not where I left off in laptop which is synced but not writable when I access through Dropbox

    Thanks for the update here!

Are you able to see your edits when accessing the file from dropbox.com?

No, it's just the free flow of the writing.

Looks like I can copy so maybe just paste to Word and go from there.
