To access your backup settings, you'd need to navigate to the Backups tab in the app's preferences Jinge

Found what I think you mean bi WiFi (Internet access) but no sign of any Dropbox icon etc.

Hi Jinge, do you see anything when accessing your Backup page online? You should be able to see your Backup there, and disable it.
If not, then could you try to do a quick re-installing on the app using this link?

Right, I've now installed Dropbox, as far as I can tell, by having clicked on your instruction. And, now I see a Dropbox icon on the task bar. What comes next? (By the way, if it is pertinent, I do not have a mobile telephone.)

I can now see, in my C: list of stuff, that Dropbox is listed and, apparently, has nothing in it. Previously that wasn't the case so has this new installation actually replaced the earlier? Also, I haven't noticed any reference to backing up or cancalling it.
