How to know who deleted files from shared folder?
Hi everyone! I have an access to shared folder. We (me and some users) used it for backups. We think one of users removed files from folder. As i see, when a totaly remove file from recycle bin, this files removes from "events" page. How can we check, who removed files from folder and ther totaly removed it from trash?
Thank you!
Dropbox doesnt have a recycling bin, so, there isnt a way to move things out of that. Deleted files and folders just get deleted within that folder itself and are 'removed' and hidden from others.
If you go to the shared folder and click on the file and restore it once its restored you can view the previous version history on it and THAT will show you which device and user deleted it. BUT thats only if it is restorable.
