I'm trying to restore files, but it says I don't have enough space.
Hello - I had a hard drive that died. I downloaded "EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard for Mac" and was able to recover everything. However, when I hit "Recover," then pick DropBox for its destination, it says I don't have enough space, which is wrong. I have 2 TB of space, and I'm only using 8.1% of that space. I AM trying to transfer 550 GB, but I have plenty of room. Anyone know how I can rectify this?

Do you have space on your hard drive as thats where the files are trying to be saved?
Dropbox is just a folder on your device like any other so uses up space and quota.
Once the files have uploaded then you can remove them locally via Online Only files, but, they must be local first so they can be sync'd.

I do not have space on my hard drive. That may be part of the problem? I was able to transfer some files to dropbox (as space allowed). However, per some other advice, I got a different hard drive with more space, and am attempting to transfer the data to that hard drive, and then, again, as advised, will move them to dropbox and remove them locally.

Hello -
Thank you for the followup. I think the advice gotten from this forum helped. I'm still having issues with the recovery software, but I understand how to get the files to Dropbox better now.
Thank you!
