5 years agomy files disappeared.
I installed the dropbox on my MAC and it automatically uploaded some files.
However when I entered the dropbox, it is not there. it is an important file and I cannot miss it. Can someone help me? I already looked at the list of deleted files and there is nothing. I did it on Tuesday, the 26th, and on the 27th, I was no longer. I already did the backward process but the file just disappeared. I don't know what else to do! when i try to open the file in Word, it appears that it is in the dropbox in the following path: users / paulobarros / dropbox / mymac / desktop / filename but when I open the drop, there is nothing. HELP PLEASE!!!

Thanks for the ticket number, 2rerik! I was able to locate it in our system and I can see one of our specialists is already working on your case. I’ve also left them an internal note, so they should get back to you as soon as possible.

Great that the matter is looked at by a specialist! But how are you gonna defend that this can happen with an account? How can a user feel confident in using your service when the account simply disappears overnight? It's madness..
Waiting anxiously to get a solution from your specialist.........

you wrote "You guys are full of it."
Can you please explain what you have on your mind? What do you mean by "it"? Dropbox is full of what? Many thanks.

Looks like it is exactly as you have explained. Just a lot of weird suggestions from support, absolutely no solution to the problem. This is absolutely incredible..
- Iike2 years agoHelpful | Level 5Oh yah. You’ll hear same thing over and over. Then they will send it to TOP SUPPORT and they will say exact same thing.
They are crooks. I saw a huge class action lawsuit coming. - LennyH2 years agoExplorer | Level 4
I recently lost all my files back to 7/2023. I use dropbox on a daily basis. I've changed computers, I've logged out and back in again. Any suggestions?

Sorry to hear about this, LennyH.
When you say you lost your files, do you mean that they were deleted, or are you just not able to see them in your account?
Are you sure you're logged in to the correct account?
And what do you see in your deleted files and events pages?
