My files were deleted - can I recover them?

I had forgot about my account as my pc broke, I was in the middle of an upload of my pc files and transferring to another ssd, I just barely got another pc and I am wondering if Dropbox could do a recovery? I had an upgraded account.

    Did you continuously pay for the upgrade? If you did the files will still be on there as long as they werent removed by you at some point. 

    If you stopped paying Dropbox removes files after 12 months of inactivity and unfortunately its not possible to recover them after this date.
