    When viewing files directly on the Dropbox website, you're seeing a preview of the original. For images and videos, the resolution will be lower than the original file. To see the file in its original detail, you need to download the file and open it locally. There are no settings that control this.

The issue is both on Dropbox, but also when they have downloaded the image.

    Hi Etuttle, AnnB, as Rich said, make sure that if you’re using a shared link, they specifically click the ‘Direct download’ button on the top right, like so:
     
     
    If they’re downloading the file any other way, then they’re not downloading it correctly.
