Search doesn't find all results.
Searching for folders which are clearly there returns no results.
I am searching for a specific word which is part of multiple folders but they do not all appear in the results.
If I search multiple times it wil sometimes have 1 result and sometimes 2, but there should be more.
I can't think of a reasonable explanation why repeating the same search will return different results unless there is a technical issue with Dropbox itself.
Is this a known issue that will be resolved?
EDIT: Just wanted to also mention I've tested this with multiple browsers and incognito mode. My client (who came to me with this issue) also has the same problems.
So it's actually started working now.
Perhaps it was a delay in indexing at Dropbox side?
Seems odd though, it doesn't usually take very long and this was all day.

We are facing this issue, too. The search result shows nothing but it's really in a paper content. Hope this issue can be solved ASAP.

Hi joyce lee, thanks for nudging us here.
Just to make sure that we're on the same page, are you searching for content that is mentioned in a Paper doc, or are you looking up its title?
Also, assuming that you are doing this through the website, do you get the same results regardless of which browser you use?

I'm searching for content that is mentioned in a Paper doc vua Google Chrome browser. I've tried Dropbox desktop app to search paper content but also found nothing. Search for title works fine for me.

Since full-text search is available to paid subscription, could you check yours by going to the Plan tab online?

Oh, I'm a basic user. My friends are old Dropbox members and they can full-text search. I thought that is a normal function for basic user. So now new joined basic member does not have full-text search function, old basic members have, right?

Just to make sure that we cover as much ground as possible, do you see Dropbox Paper in the drop-down menu when you sign in on the web and click on Create?
Also, if you'd like to have a better look into this matter, I'm more than happy to send you a ticket.

No I cannot create dropbox paper, that's another issue. Looks like new member cannot create paper on old shared folder. Right?

The best course of action to make sure that we investigate this accordingly would be via a ticket.
I've sent you one, so when you have the chance, just check your inbox and we'll take it from there.
Looking forward to hearing back from you!
