Sort by name not working on DropBox app for Mac.

Hi, could someone please let me know why the folders in my dropbox application for desktop on Mac are not being ordered correctly by name? The settings are set so that they should be, and all other files and folders on the computer are ordered as so. The folders are also ordered correctly by name in DropBox web, but for some reason, ordering by name in Finder doesn't work.

 

To reiterate, ALL other files on the computer - on the hard drive and in Google Drive - are organised perfectly by name, in ascending numbers or alphabetically so this must be something to do with DropBox and or it's relationship with Mac OS.

 

If someone could help I would greatly appreciate it!

    In that case, I'd recommend getting back to your open ticket about this issue and reply to my colleague's email to continue investigating this Haumann

    I think I figured it out. I had the problem in Dropbox and Google Drive Folders in Finder and now it's working again.

    In finder, navigate to the top-level folder, then go to "View" > "Sort By" > "Name"

    Hey Haumann, I can see that you never responded back to my initial email, from a couple of months back.
