Storage says it is full, but it is not
Hi, I'm new to these forums, so please bare with me. I have an account with folders shared with me by my employer. We have plenty of storage, but when I log in I see a message every time say...

Hi jen2fe
You are nearly out of space - you only have 74mb of space left based upon the data you posted below. Shared folders use up the quota of every person within the share UNLESS you are a licensed team member of a Business plan. So, your colleagues either have more space, a paid plan or are part of a paid team.

It shows I have barley used my available space, but no matter what I am told I have no space. I've permanently deleted everything I've trashed and slos every single item i've had shared. I went to "all files" and now only have 3 items taking up little space.

3 years agoHey hfiumano, where are you currently seeing that you're out of space?
Are you getting email notifications? And if so, are they going to the email address associated with your account here, or a different address?
- hfiumano3 years agoExplorer | Level 3Hi,
I had been receiving emails and now I also get the notification while on the Ap and desktop version- Walter3 years ago

Hey hfiumano & Upstate Cate, could you confirm what is your plan tab showing in regards to your quota at the moment?
Also, can you let us know how large the folder you're trying to add to your account is?
If you could also send us a screenshot of the errors and/or notifications you're getting, I'd appreciate it.
- Upstate Cate3 years agoExplorer | Level 3It’s OK; I’ve solved the problem by stopping using Dropbox.
- Upstate Cate3 years agoExplorer | Level 3No emails. It happens whenever I try to access a folder.
