I selected the photos for upload on the iPhone. Then I pressed Share and Dropbox and I uploaded into a folder.

3 years agoHi Macnerdy, keep in mind that videos are encoded using the HEVC codec, and stored in a MOV container, so the file on disk has .mov as a file extension.
That extension doesn't mean that it's not HEVC. It's also a MOV file if, for example, you export the video from iPhoto on your mac.
As far as HDR playback, you should be able to achieve HDR playback on iOS if you mark the file as offline and download it to your device.
