Walter,
This is on a Windows 10, Word 365 Application, saves document from word (Save As) places in dropbox folder. Then goes back, document has 0KB blank document. Saving in other locations seem to work fine, But dropbox is the main saving location (for sync and backup). After changing the default location, the issue is gone, but we'll looking forward to re-enble save as to Dropbox.
Thank you.

Also good to know: When save as to Dropbox, the document is not keeping the saved name. For ex, if we save the file as "TestFile.docx", in dropbox folder this will appear as "Document1.docx". The next saved file will be "Document2.docx" and so on. This is the name that we're seeing also in Word when saving the file. When saving to a different location the saved file will get the desired name, and the file is saved accordingly.

Could you quit our desktop app and try again cornelrules?
Let me know if you still receive the same error with our app closed and we'll take it from there.- cornelrules5 years agoExplorer | Level 3
We had already tried, and while the Dropbox app is closed the file is correctly saved on the HDD. After starting Dropbox app, saving to the very same location won't work any more.
