Excel file macros do not work in shared Dropbox folder.
I have an excel spreadsheet on my desktop computer that uses macros in order to automatically sort my tenants. When i upload this spreadsheet into a shared file folder with my partners, the macros no longer work and the file is not automatically sorting. What is going on. Why does it disable macros?

Simultaneously work on desktop version Excel files using the same Dropbox account
Good morning, I have a Dropbox Basic account. I have linked my account to three devices in the house. Sometimes my partner and I need to simultaneously edit Excel files in my account. So we both log in with my Dropbox account on two different PCs on which there is the same Dropbox folder on the desktop, so we access the same identical files without any difficulty. The only problem is that when we open the same Excel file to make changes, Dropbox creates conflict copies. For our case, having a single Dropbox account in the family, is there a way to work simultaneously from two devices without having problems? I specify that, if possible, we would prefer to continue working with the desktop version on the PC and not online through for example office.com. Thanks in advance. Federico

Saving excel file straight to Dropbox
I have been using dropbox for a few years but due to running out of harddrive i've opted to save the cloud. now I'm having trouble downloading anything. I managed to download an existing excel file but i cannot save the updated version to the cloud. I understand that i have to learn a different way to download and save so any help would be appreciated

I upload Excel files to my desktop app, but they only sync after restarting my Windows device.
After a recent email from Dropbox my Excel files do not update in Dropbox after I copy them to the Dropbox Folder If I turn the laptop off and then on again, then they appear as updated. What's going on, they used to update or sync on their own in 5-10 seconds!

File updates are not syncing between my computers
Question or Issue I am working on MS Word docs and Excel docs on my two laptops. I keep all my documents in shared Dropbox folders. When I edit any doc in one laptop and Save it, even Save As, and then close it -- the old, unedited version is the only one that will open on the other laptop. It does not matter which one I edit on, the folder is not sharing the saved additions and edits. This feels like the most basic function of Dropbox, but not working for me. It has in the past, but it has been at least months since I have shared other than my recent problems. (It has not worked for weeks, at least.) Just to make sure it is not Windows 360 at fault, I just added a jpg to one folder, saved and closed it. Opening the folder on the other machine, new jpg not there. Help, please! One laptop is Windows 11, HP Ominibook I bought this year. The other is an old Windows 10 HP Pavilion, which I'll need to retire soon.

Dropbox Badge doesn't always work with my Microsoft files.
I am having problems witht he Dropbox badge that shows when you open files My badge is now detached from files. It use to show with every excel file I opened. It disappers, and I have to minimize the file to get it back It does not move with the document when using multiple screens. The datails shown on the badge have changed.

Syncing Microsoft Excel files between PC and Mac
Hi everyone. Is there a way to sync my Excel files (saved in Dropbox) on the fly between my MacBook and PC? Like Continuity on Mac - u edit file on one device and synchronously see edits on the another device? I have my Excel files synced among devices with Dropbox only if I saved them before switching to another machine. If I forgot to save the excel file on my desktop PC before going to work - I will not be able to access edited version on my macbook till evening when I come from work. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong and they SHOULD sync on the fly somehow

I can't open Word files from Dropbox on iOS
Hello .. Suddenly i cant open my files from dropbox, it worked as usual yesterday, but after a couple of hours i couldnt open any file at all so i can edit in word. A new window popped up and said something about " docx stores on a serverlocation that does not support". After a couple of hours trying to fix this with uninstalling word,dropbox,microsoft office etc, I managed to get files to open through Word app only when i didnt had microsoft office installed on my Ipad. But at soon as i install microsoft 365 (office) again, it doesnt work. The error screen pops up again. Usually when im able to open to edit word files it opens up through " onedrive" then word through office i believe. The problem i have now is that i still need it to work as it did before with 365 program installed. I have reached out to microsoft but they told me to ask here.. Again, this happens only with my Ipad and Iphone, not on my computer that runs windows.. Anyone who knows how to fix this? Thank you
