Dropbox Badge doesn't always work with my Microsoft files.

I am having problems witht he Dropbox badge that shows when you open files

  1. My badge is now detached from files.
  2. It use to show with every excel file I opened.
  3. It disappers, and I have to minimize the file to get it back
  4. It does not move with the document when using multiple screens.
  5. The datails shown on the badge have changed.

Hey NewUser2U, thanks for your post!

Did you try disabling the Dropbox Badge and enabling it again? Does that make any difference?

Other than that, what's the syncing status and app version of your Dropbox app?

Finally, feel free to send over a few screenshots of what you see on your end, so that we may have a visual.

    Keep me updated.

    Hi NewUser2U,

Thanks for your post. The Dropbox Badge can sometimes behave unpredictably, especially with Office files and multi-monitor setups. This issue is often linked to outdated software or display configuration glitches. Try making sure both Dropbox and Microsoft Office are up to date, and consider restarting or reinstalling Dropbox if the problem persists. If that doesn't help, Dropbox Support can take a closer look and provide guidance based on your system setup.

    Hope this helps!

    Best,
    Henry
