Well, now all of the photos are uploaded. Check.
But, they are uploaded with bizare filenames and the dates are erased forever. Awesome.
Also, I can only view them on a Mac, not on a PC.
Fabulous.
I can't afford to spend any more time on my dropbox issues. These problems have reached the point of insanity.

2 years agoHi there wallerlaurenp - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
When it comes to the issue with previewing the files on a Windows computer, could you let us know some additional information such as your device's OS and clarify if you're getting any particular error?

The photos that I upload from my iPhone or Mac can’t be read by my pc. I get a message that says the format is currently unsupported or the file is corrupted. The file is a jpg and it is not corrupted, because I can see it on my Mac. Slides in PowerPoints are also coming through as unsupported/corrupted. This is more than frustrating. This is negligence on the part of Dropbox.- Walter2 years ago

Have you tried another media player to preview the files of your Windows computer wallerlaurenp?
Also, are you able to preview them normally on the website?

I Walter, thanks for your help. Yes, I can see them online and on my mac, but not on my PC. There is no other media viewer/played that I've been able to find. Interestingly, I can view new files and photos that have been uploaded since I got that computer (the PC is my work computer), but I can't view anything from before that. It says the files are corrupt, even though I can view them on the Mac/online.
