Can I recover files from an expired link?
Hello! A friend sent me several files and I didn't download them right away because I though the links would never expire. Well, the links expired, and my friend no longer has the files. Is there any way I could recover them? Those were some pretty important files!

Did you friend send you a Dropbox Transfer, which automatically expired after a few days perhaps? If yes, I’m afraid it’s not possible for you to restore these files, since they’re no longer accessible on your end.
However, can you clarify if your friend deleted them from their own Dropbox account? If yes, then there’s a chance they can restore them via their Deleted files page, and share them with you once again.
