Can I sync folders that are located on a different SSD drive to Dropbox?
This has been discussed in several threads, but it seems I can't find a solution.
My main Dropbox Folder is in one hard drive in my computer (mac OS). I need to sync some other folders that, for speed reasons, are on another drive (fast SSD). I do not have room enough to have all the dropbox folder on my fast drive.
We work with several computers, so this "external folder" must syncornize and update several times a day.
How can I do to have this folder syncing in Dropbox?
Thanks very much.

Dropbox can't do that. It can only sync the files and folders located in the Dropbox folder.

That's what it seemed to me, although it's hard to belie.ve they aren't able to provide this feature (even more if you have a paid Plan).

cenilleu, to clarify, the SSD you mention isn’t an external hard drive, correct? If not, then this isn’t possible indeed, as Rich mentioned above.

Yes, it is a external drive.

cenilleu, you should now be able to select specific folders from the external drive to back up. Let me know if you don’t see the option though, while setting up the feature.

Thanks Nancy for the answers.
I need to sync a folder (not the whole drive) but in order to share it with other people and another computer of mine. Never tried the backup feature but i'm afraid it can't behave like a regular sync folder.
