Cancelling an upload
By mistake my Dropbox started to upload my whole desktop, instead of the folder I thought (and still think) that I marked. Now I can't find a way to cancel the upload, and it says it will take severa...

Hey there olofedsinger - how are you today?
If I understood correctly, you're uploading files through our website (not using the desktop app) and you mistakenly uploaded more files/folders than you meant to.
In that case, all you need to do is close your web browser to cancel the upload completely. If any files were uploaded before doing this, you should be able to delete them as needed.
Let me know if I'm missing anything here please.

This is very strange. I have now tried Safari, Firefox and Chrome incognito, and it's everywhere the same: Nothing happens when I drop the files where it says I should drop them, and when I try to use the function Upload files, I get my whole desktop although I only mark the file I want ... Unfortunately, I don't get any messages about the problem.

7 years agoCould you post a screenshot of the last screen when this happens olofedsinger?
Can you also confirm that you're using the steps mentioned below to upload your files in the first place?

Thanks!

From what I can understand I follow these steps. I'm using dropbox.com. And I cannot add my screen shot here either. :)
