Can't access files after online only and revert
Windows 11 PC
Hi - I chose "Make online-only" for all files backed up on Dropbox. Realized this was the wrong thing to do as it slowed everything way down. I since clicked and chose "Make available offline".
Now i cannot open any files on my PC at all. Error message: "Cannot open the file 'xyz' because the file format or file extension is not valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that the file extension matches the format of the file".
Please help - i can't access anything at all!!

Welcome aboard the Community, yaseenali203.
Can you let me know what’s the current syncing status of your Dropbox app? Did it sync all of your updates, after making your files available offline again?
If yes, I’d like you to send me a full screenshot of the error you’re receiving on your end, and one more screenshot of the syncing icons you see next to your files now.
Finally, if you open your files on the Dropbox website, do they preview alright?
Keep me posted for more updates.
