Context menu disappeared from Dropbox app on Win11 build 194.4.6267
Hi all,
it's a bit of time that I no longer see Dropbox options in the context menu on Win 11 (right mouse click).
Due to this problem I can't select what files or folders I want to have available online or offline .
I can't find an answer or a solution, but I need to free some space on the local drive.
If anyone can help I will appreciate a lot!
Thanks
Riccardo

Hi there, RiCo67.
One more thing you can try is to verify that the Windows UAC levels are set to default levels.
This can be changed in your Security settings in the control panel. For more information about UAC levels on Windows please see this link.

UAC Levels are set to Default...
Anyone can tell me how I can eventually choose what to see or not in those 15 overlay icons on context menu?
Is there any option to choose between them? - Hannah2 years ago

Hey RiCo67, regarding choosing between overlay icons, you might need to check that with Microsoft or the other apps listed there, as we can't know for sure how they're working in regards to that.
But, if you're restarting the computer and the issue still persists, I would suggest reaching out to our support team at this point.
Make sure to give us your ticket number once you have it and if you have any issues opening a ticket, let us know as well.

I have the same problem. Someone at DropBox read this thread -- it is useless - must be auto generated with AI. How do we get the sync icons back to being displayed? Please post the answer.

Hey ScottE1, I can assure you we're human!
I'm sorry to hear you haven't found the steps here very helpful so far, would you mind sharing some more info about your current setup like your app's sync status and any relevant screenshots?
It might be something device specific, so If you've tried everything and it's still not working, you can always reach out to our support team as well.

I'm having the same issue. I cannot share links with co-workers without reinstalling Dropbox EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I need to share something...

Hey kalbrandon, thanks for letting us know about this.
Are you missing all Dropbox right-click options or just the ones about sharing files?
A screenshot of what you see, would be really helpful, if you could send us one.
