'Couldn't copy, but it might be a fluke. Try reloading the page or ask us for help' error
Hi guys,
Our company account has been suffering from a "Copy Link" failure issue for months.
The symptom is we can't use the "Copy Link" function.
Every time the user inside the enterprise plan tries to use the "Copy Link" function, then the system will say: "Couldn't copy, but it might be a fluke. Try reloading the page or ask us for help".
The service team said they were investigating the issue.
But still no solutions.
Does anyone have any idea about this?

Hey there, tombell666, let's jump right into this!
If you try to share a folder, or a link on your end, you don't get any specific errors, do you?
Does this happen with every single content you share with them? Could you send us, a few screenshots of the errors the members get when they open your shared files?
Keep me posted!

Hi
The error only appears at our users end.
I can send files from that folder that work OK. It only seems to be when I send the full folder. Maybe to folder is too big ??
This is the error they get.

Hi tombell666, thanks for the screenshot!
Just to clarify: did you send them the entire folder using these steps, or a link to the folder using these steps?
If you sent them the entire folder, they would need adequate space in their account, in order to open it.

For some reason, Dropbox is not allowing me to create a shareable link for one of my writing samples. It's just an average PDF. It is not that large of a file. I'm able to create shareable links for other files in my Dropbox, just not this one. Each time I try, I get the message: "Couldn't copy, but it might be a fluke. Try reloading the page or ask us." I have tried deleting the file then reuploading it and reuploading the page, but nothing works. Any suggestions?

Have you tried editing the file, renaming it and uploading again?

I would be most grateful for some help. I am getting frustrated trying to copy a folder link.
"Couldn't copy, but it might be a fluke. Try reloading the page or ask us for help."
Why do I see this?
