Dropbox account is full for a user of a shared folder. What can I do?
I have a recipe test group who are uploading videos to my Dropbox. They are now getting messages their Dropbox is full despite it being loaded to my account. Is there a way to avoid the the folder not using up their accounts space? I have a large plan and they are all videos, but I still have a lot of content to be shared to the folder from our testers.
Hi MadC - thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to our Community!
Shared folders take up space in each member’s account unless each person is on the same Dropbox team.
If you'd like others to upload to your account without impacting their own quota, you can use a file request instead.
I hope this helps and please let us know if you have any follow up questions.
