Solved

Dropbox attachment for Android Text Message doesn't appear in new phone.

My Android S10 Android Message App when clicking the + button had a Dropbox option for attachments. My Android S24 does not have that option, the only way to access Dropbox files is through Image-Browse. Anyway, to have the Dropbox option added without having to do the two extra steps. Thanks!

Hey SafetyJohn, thanks for the update!

It looks like this is something that's coming directly from your OS, in this case Samsung.

You can always create a link, and then send it via text message using your message app.

Hey SafetyJohn, let's jump right into this!

When you say attachments, would you mind clarifying a bit what you mean? Did it give you an option to send a certain Dropbox file as a message?

If you could send us a screenshot of the S10 and the options you see there, versus what you see on your S24, that'll definitely help us get the visual.

Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

Hi Megan; By attachments, I mean accessing an image in Dropbox to send via text. Unfortunately, no S10 Screenshot is available as it was stolen 😒, however, attached is an S24 Screenshot, thinking similar to S10, with no Dropbox option. 😊Thank you!

Hi Megan; Thanks! I discovered a good workaround. I click on 'Image' and then '3 dots' in the upper right, 'Browse' pops up, click on that, and 'Dropbox' attachments are available. Two extra steps, however, same result as my S10. All good! 😊Thank you for the responses
