Error 404 when opening file I made
Here's a grammatically corrected version of your message:
Hi, every time I try to open a new file on Dropbox Paper or access an existing paper, I receive a 404 error message.
I've created around 5 or 6 new papers and shared links with someone I'm mentoring. However, they've informed me that they're unable to open the links due to errors. Now, when I attempt to create a new paper or open an existing one, I encounter the same error message.
To outline my experience:
- Sign in to Dropbox.
- Attempt to open an existing file I created.
- Result: Error (404) - "We can't find the page you're looking for."
Second scenario:
- Sign in to Dropbox.
- Attempt to create a new paper.
- Result: Error (404) - "We can't find the page you're looking for."
Essentially, I'm unable to perform any actions. Previously, I could open the files on my MacBook using Chrome or Safari without any issues.
Could someone please assist?

Do the files still exist within your account?
Can you create links to files not inside of Paper?
- Jay44912 years agoExplorer | Level 3Hey,
Yes the file all exist I can convert them into a PDF and view the pdf file In drop box.
I can also create links but when I try and open the link it still says 404 error.
It’s like the account has been disabled from viewing existing files and creating new papers but I’ve not been notified of any wrong doing. - Mark2 years ago

You need to contact support at www.dropbox.com/support, or if a free member hope somebody spots it here tomorrow.

Hey Jay4491, it does sound like your links are banned.
Can we send you an email to investigate this further?
