Using 128.4.2870. Below image on left shows the file when looking at smart sync. So i opened the file in question and saved and closed it. but then when right clicking on excel thats pinned to my taskbar i do not see the file. This same thing happens with excel, ppt, etc.
Recent views is turned on as if i do this with files saved to my C drive it works.

If you quit the app, and then follow the same steps, do you see the files?

I'm also having this problem. I'm using dropbox 134.4.4115, office 365 (version 2110) and Windows 10 Pro 21H1. currently open files dont even show in the jump list when the file is open in excel. This prevents me from even pinning it to the jump list. No recently opened files populate the jump list either. This happens for files in local and online only mode if stored in the drop box.
