Folders added to shared Dropbox not appearing for other users.

I am adding folders to shared dropbox files but other users cannot see them in their files

Are you adding the folders to the local Dropbox folder on your computer or are you uploading them through the Dropbox website? If adding them to your local Dropbox folder, can you see them when you check your account online? Also, have you made sure to avoid certain characters in the folder names that could cause a sync issue?
