Getting all music off my iphone and transferring it to my dropbox folder.

Hello all, quick question. The good folks at the help center don't have the answer to my question. I have read you can transfer all your music off of your iPhone (both apple and personally owned music Cd's etc.) I have lost my old hard drive that had all my music media and only have what's left on the phone. Is this even possible?

Thank you VERY much,
Horrible Harry

Hi HorribleHarry, thanks for messaging the Community!

If you're able to access your music files in the iOS Files app, then you might be able to upload them to the Dropbox mobile app onto your account.

Generally, the Music app on iOS prevents any kind of transfer to a third party service for copyright purposes. Files can only be synced directly to and from iTunes on the desktop.

If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.
