HEIC Convert to JPG doesn't work.
I had followed instructions to change from HEIC to JPG and it was just fine. Recently (yesterday) iPhone issued an update and now my pictures are only showing as HEIC.

I did uninstall and reinstall and after calling Apple support (not knowledgeable with Dropbox) and not very helpful, I just started playing around with it. Took a new picture instead of using one in my photos and that worked and now everything seems to be back to normal. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you how I fixed it because I don't know that answer!

3 years agoSo Dropbox uploads what is taken on the phone - so at the moment your phone is set to take HEIC pictures. You need to change that to JPGs (note that's not anything to do with Dropbox). Then when you upload to Dropbox they'll upload correctly.

Mike - I have already done this and followed all the directions in your link - nothing seems to help!
