How can I remove a member from a shared folder and delete their folders/files from their computer?

Hi all, I want to remove a member from Dropbox and ensure the files are deleted from their computer, but there is no option to "Let XXX keep a copy of this shared folder". How can I be sure that the unshared folder is removed from the user's hard drive? Thank you.

Hi arktis, thanks for contacting us.

When following these steps, are you not seeing the option on the Dropbox site or the desktop app for leaving a copy of the shared folder.

This will help me to assist further!

Hi, I am doing it on dropbox.com and don't see the option of allowing the member to keep a copy. Here's the screenshot:

Hey arktis, sorry for jumping in. Just to clarify, is the option missing on another browser/incognito mode?

Yes, it is missing both on another browser and also in incognito mode.

Are you using the Dropbox site in the dark mode theme?

What plan are you and the other user on at this moment?

Hi, I am not using the dark mode them. I am on a family plan; the other user was on the same family plan but has already been removed.

Thanks for the update, could you contact the support team directly for them to investigate this matter in more detail on their end?
