How do I sync my Mac and iPhone?

I am trying to empty my Mac computer and I want to transfer all my files and pictures through Dropbox.

2 years agoDropbox should have an icon at the top on the status bar near the clock. When you hover over it it should say what the version is and something like 'up to date'.
Dropbox can only run if it appears there.
Go to the applications folder and open Dropbox again to make sure its running.

So, that means Dropbox isnt running or working. How long has it said 'starting' ?
Have you tried a reboot of the machine?
And then if that doesn't help reinstalling it from www.dropbox.com/downloading
