Hi Warren J., thanks for posting here!

If I understand your request correctly, and just to clarify: do you wish to upload the content of a Dropbox shared link to YouTube?

Provided that you meant something different, don't hesitate to let me know.

If this is what you're talking about, then you'd need to download the file locally, and then upload it directly to YouTube.

Not sure if there's a different way to go about it.

    I hope this helps!

That gave me hope, but it didn't help. Maybe I didn't understand you. I thought you said to download it and then use the link shown in the downloaded file. I did that, but it didn't help. When I posted that link into YouTube and later tried to open it, here’s what I saw (I couldn't copy it, but this is what it said: The link (long link) will not open a new tab. Are you sure you want to leave?

Hey Warren J., my initial understanding is that someone shared a video file using a Dropbox shared link, and you wish to upload this video file to YouTube.

Can you clarify if I'm correct?

If that's the case, then I meant that you'd need to download the file from the shared link, and then follow YouTube's steps in order to upload your video there.

Apparently, you didn't receive my previous message. I said that I have been unable to upload my Dropbox link to Youtube; however, I also said that maybe I didn't understand your instructions. I THOUGHT you said the following: (1) Download the page (2) Copy the new link from the downloaded page. (3) Post this 2nd link to the YouTube page.  Anyway, that's what I did, and it didn't help.

Hi Warren J., I did receive your previous message.

Thanks for clarifying the steps you tried, however I'm still not entirely sure of a few things.

When you say "upload your Dropbox link to YouTube" can you let me know more as to what the end goal is?

I'm asking, because as far as I'm aware -and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong- you can't post a link to YouTube, you need to upload an actual file.

I'm talking about some instructions that take up around 35 lines. That takes a lot of space; that's why I think that posting a link to those 35 lines would make more sense. The end goal is, of course, to share those instructions with the people who would be interested.
