How to leave a shared folder I have deleted?

Deleted files DO NOT take up quota. But if you didnt leave the share you can still access it so yes, they are still in your account.
Click on the three dots next to the name and leave.

Thank you. The problem I'm having is that I can no longer see the folders I've deleted, even though they're still taking up storage space. How can I leave a folder that has been deleted but is no longer in my 'deleted files'? How can I free up that space?

You can go to http://www.dropbox.com/share and leave via there.

Where do you see that these folders still take up space in your account?
Would you mind clarifying what your account's plan page reports? If you have any screenshots of said page, along with what you see when visiting your sharing page, I'd appreciate the visual.
