I can't get my hard drive to sync after disconnecting it from my PC
Yesterday I disconnected my HD from PC, now, this HD is not synced with dropbox online anymore.

When you reinstalled the Dropbox desktop application, did you perform an advanced reinstallation to get the option in the advanced settings to locate the Dropbox folder on the external drive?

Just for clarification, are you referring to an external drive that you disconnected from the computer?
Is this the same computer you previously had it connected to? Have you enabled the Dropbox Backup feature, or is your Dropbox folder located on the drive?
This will help me to assist further!

It says the HD has a dropbox.cache already.
So I deleted, and still cant assign.

It worked after this full unistall then advanced installation!
