It's difficult to download Dropbox folders onto your computer when the hard drive is full

Hi just realized how difficult it is to store the contents from dropbox on to another harddrive if you computer is full.

It is not possible to download bigger folders from dropbox unless they fit into a zip

Wow, thats horrible. That costs me ages of time

Hi heiner_greenman, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

This is correct regarding the larger folders, as they cannot fit in a zip file for the download to be processed.

As a workaround, you could try using the Dropbox desktop application itself, and making the external drive as the location for the Dropbox folder. This would make the app automatically download the files there.

If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.
