I've been banned from sharing links. What can I do?
So, I have been banned from sharing links from Dropbox for years, I never did get any understanding of why, I never got an email about it and just dug back through to see if I had gotten anything, but no such luck. It gives a message on the site that I did something against the ToS but I have absolutely no idea how or when. This has been years and I never share links enough for it to have mattered until recently now that I'm doing tabletop gaming. Is there anything at all I can do to get this ban removed at all, I don't even know when this started or why.

Hi - I am unable to share the links myself. Seems to have been banned without informing. Why and how? I rarely share anything using my dropbox.

MONTYAGARWAL24, Dropbox can ban your public links for one of the reasons listed here.
We can log a ticket for you here though and look into this further. Let me know if that’s alright.

Hey rydbomc - sorry to hear about this.
It sounds like your shared links might have been banned. Would it be OK if we reached out via email to have a further look internally?
- rydbomc2 years agoExplorer | Level 3That is good to me. I wasn't able to send anything. I use them for files and jobs.

Hi!
I am writing to express my frustration regarding the repeated ban of my sharing activity, which has now occurred twice in the span of two days. This is particularly concerning as there has been no unusual activity on my account. I have been uploading a maximum of 10 files per day and sharing them with colleagues from various countries, as part of a critical international project.
This project is of significant importance, and having access to Dropbox is essential for the seamless collaboration of our team. The repeated suspensions are causing severe disruptions and negatively impacting our work. It is highly disappointing to encounter such issues with a service I rely on for professional purposes.
I kindly request an urgent review and resolution of this matter. Please restore my sharing activty access as soon as possible and / or provide some solutions to ensure that this issue will not recur.
Thanks!
