My account is banned from sharing files, why?
I was banned from sharing files from drop box. Just a bunch of college admission PDF's with the following msg.
"We’ve suspended your sharing activity because of a violation of Dropbox’s Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, and Terms of Service or Services Agreement"
I am not an active drop box user but share file now and then . How can i get my sharing capability unsuspended?/

Hi there anonymous - sorry to hear about this.
How long have you been getting this error? Did you receive an email from Dropbox informing you about this perhaps?
- anonymous2 years ago
Yes and I havent been doing anything. I had an anomaly situation when I was sharing 10gb of files with 3 business partners

Hey anonymous, thanks for the update here.
If this is the first time this has happened, the ban should only last 24 hours, so after this time, you should be able to resume sharing from your account.

Happened thrice, ban is still there. 24 hours is a long time I need to use Dropbox for work

Bans get longer each time you hit the limit.
If you use for work and need to get more bandwidth take out a paid plan and you shouldnt hit the limit.
